The Girl That Runs

So this is my first post!

This is where it all begins. I'm a freshman in college and I nearly hit the freshman 15! This is my journey on how to get rid of the freshman 15, while being healthy and fit.

I attend University of Cincinnati here in Cincinnati, Ohio:
This journey will show my fitness life here at UC. I plan on updating daily about my foods and exercise.

Running is the best cardio exercise out there!
There is a difference between long distance and sprinting.
Sprinting will result in faster weight loss and more muscle gain and more of anaerobic exercise.
Long distance can help with stamina and leaner legs, and more of a aerobic exercise. Both are very good. More info about the two later.

And remember, always drink water!


Nothing is more healthier than:

Brown Rice, Salmon, and Spinach + Carrots.
Brown Rice is a whole grain food which is high in fiber.
Salmon is good for a low calorie protein.
Spinach and carrots also both help with fiber and are both very good for eyes, hair, nails, etc.
