-Always, always eat at least a minimum of 1,500 calories. Any less and it can cause your body to go into starvation mode.
What is starvation mode?
Starvation mode is where the body begins to burn fat, lean tissue, and even muscle as fuel.
-Higher Reps for muscles is good whether you are a female or a male.
-Muscle will burn off fat. Don't be afraid of gaining muscle.
-Muscle weighs more than fat.
-You can be very "small" and can be considered fat (have a higher fat percentage) than those who are "bigger" with high muscle content and low fat. Which is still unhealthy.
-Drink 8 glasses of water a day.
-You can lose weight just by cutting out soda pop.
-Protein, protein, protein is amazing when trying to build muscle.
-ALWAYS eat breakfast.
-It's best to eat five smaller meals per day instead of three large meals.
-Write down what you eat
-Cut out the junk food!
-Eat vegetables and fruit daily
-Stay away from white bread, rice, etc. Stick to whole wheat!
-Turkey, fish, and chicken breasts are all very healthy meats to eat for protein.
-Saturated Fat is good:
We need certain fats for our bodies to function properly. Fats are needed to help form cell membranes, carry fat-soluble vitamins, build tissue, produce hormones, protect vital organs, provide thermal insulation, transmit nerve impulses and, of course, provide fuel.
